We Relaunched Blacktip Aerial in the Florida Keys

We’re excited to finally announce the relaunch of Blacktip Aerial in the Florida Keys, but before digging into that, we first need to give you a quick history lesson.

Toledo Aerial Media (or TAM as many folks know us) has roots back to 2014 and was founded in 2015 by Phil Myers. Blacktip Aerial, a commercial drone service company founded by Chris Aldrich while living in Key Largo, merged with TAM in 2016. After the merger, the two companies were one and the same and provided creative and technical drone services to clients across the United States, as well as internationally.

While we continued to support our Blacktip Aerial clients throughout the Florida Keys and mainland Florida from our headquarters in downtown Toledo, Ohio, in 2018 we decided it was time to revive the Blacktip Aerial brand to once again have a presence and base of operations in the Sunshine State. In doing so, we welcomed Travis Yednak to our team. He currently operates the Blacktip Aerial office in Islamorada and manages day-to-day operations.

That brings us to the current iteration of our company with Blacktip Aerial operating in the Florida Keys under the TAM umbrella for the last year and a half. To better explain this announcement, the video below gives additional insights into how those of us at the main office work with Travis remotely and in-person to tackle projects together.
